In July, I’m gangbusters!

My birthday was last Wednesday, May 9.  I am not an astrology-believer, but do sometimes glance at my horoscope in the newspaper.  I’ve now had a week to contemplate the deeper meaning of some of the predictions for people born on May 9. 

From the Chicago Sun-Times:

You’re assimilating your life’s experience and growing wiser for it. It’s not a year to make big demands, it’s a be-nice-to-you year. Instead of kicking yourself over the past, ask, ”What next?” For the next six weeks, let your energy build. In July, you’re gangbusters, full of passionate, sensual magnetism. Aquarius and Sagittarius people share your interests. Your lucky numbers are 35, 17, 10, 8 and 3.

“Assimilating my life’s experience and growing wiser for it . . . “  Well, that sounds like “your life has been a series of crappy mistakes, but at least you are learning from it.  Good luck actually achieving anything!”

I think I will believe the sentiment from the first horoscope during the summer, then disregard it and believe the seond prediction, when my cold months are looking more positive.

I like this line: “Your struggle for success is an inspiring role model for others.”  Hmmm . . . I believe this is just a nice way of stating that I am a loser, but at least my struggle to not be a loser is humorous to some. 

All in all, I do not feel uplifted by these conjectures on my future.  Anyone else care to make a prophecy about my next year?  I’m sure you are as qualified as the folks above.
